About: BXBX is a short video celebration of the theatrical world of Mime. Though no longer a vibrant part of popular culture, the “mime underground” remains steadfast, pushing the art forward in multiple international communities. The film will focus on the work of Brooklyn-based mime company Broken Box Mime Theater (BXBX) that seeks to celebrate the theatricality of mime.
Outcomes: The final film will be sent to quirky, short film festivals. The intention is to give the art form of mime prominence and to inspire people to try it and find their inner artist.
