You are cordially invited to the most anticipated gala event of the Fall. UNDER THE LIGHTS with Cal Ripken, Jr. and Kevin Spacey is a night where sports and entertainment superstars come together to benefit their respective charities.
The evening will consist of musical entertainment, surprise special guests, and a lively retrospective on the Hall of Fame and Academy Award-winning careers of two living legends. VIP guests will be treated to photo opportunities and a buffet dinner after-party with celebrity guest from the sport and entertainment fields.
Kevin Spacey Foundation first partnered with Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation in Baltimore in early 2014 on the US pilot of Home Grown, a performing arts initiative for underserved youth. At first glance, both charities seemed vastly different with focus on sports and the performing arts. We discovered that couldn’t be further from the truth. Both charities successfully impact youth with programs to instill critical life skills for success. Our foundations’ work is strengthened through collaboration and the impact is unquestionable.
This fall, we are eager to create another exceptional and unique evening of conversation and entertainment to “send the elevator back down” for the next generation.
