About: Incoming is a week-long festival which took place for the first time on 19-25 May 2014 at the New Diorama Theatre, London. Incoming celebrates and champions the work of emerging theatre companies that are at the start of their theatre-making careers, curated by Jake Orr of A Younger Theatre.

Outcomes: Incoming Festival was always intended to be an annual festival. Given the success of this year’s festival and the partnership with New Diorama Theatre, A Younger Theatre are thrilled that the festival will be returning in 2015, presenting the best emerging theatre companies for a second year. Returning to the New Diorama Theatre with ten days, up from the initial seven this year, the aspiration behind the festival is as strong as ever. The festival will showcase performances from more than 20 emerging theatre companies, and offer more workshops and discussions for engagement. A Younger Theatre’s aim is to continue to grow the festival, to offer a necessary platform for emerging companies and to continue to provide a festival that is accessible to all audiences.
