About This Project

Marlena views entertainment as the most important facet of her life, giving her a form of expression and allowing her to explore the different aspects of herself. With a particular interest in writing, she has written short stories and plays at school in the past, with English being one of her best subject. She is currently working on writing a screenplay for an independent short that she hopes to submit to the Bahamas International Film Festival this year.

Marlena hopes to be able to take the expressive nature of her Bahamian culture and channel this into her work.
