About: This KSF Grant was awarded to Laura to give her the time to write the first draft of Missing Parts, a play about regional identity, gender identity and the experience of growing up whatever age we are. Receiving the KSF Grant meant that Laura could focus on researching, developing and writing this new piece of theatre.

Outcomes: In the first instance, the aim is to get the piece workshopped and read by actors, so that Laura can hear the words of her characters spoken out loud. Then the intention is to approach regional theatres with the hopes of a production in the future. Laura can use the first draft as her calling card script to introduce herself to theatre companies and producers.
