About: Play for September is a new, hour long play following Elle through one academic year of secondary school where she becomes witness to the grooming of her best friend Kay. This project is a weeklong tour of schools and small theatre venues, involving four actors/workshop leaders. Play for September is complimented by an educational program of workshops with students age 14+ exploring confidence in writing, devising for theatre and the workings of a theatre company.
Outcomes: Play For September successfully toured to schools across Yorkshire and the north of England. The company are working to secure a London venue to show the piece and are developing a new play called Kate for 2015.
