About: Inspired by the canopy scientists who use miniature hot air balloons to study rainforest canopies, Science in the Sky is an immersive, participatory outdoor spectacle, incorporating physical and visual theatre, narrative storytelling, theatrical illusion, and science.
Outcomes: Science in the Sky has had a two-week research and development period and has subsequently been offered a residency at an Arts Centre to further develop and show the piece in 2014.
“The KSF grant allowed us two-week long sessions of r&d, to creatively explore and investigate our work. It has been an invaluable part of our process, and hugely beneficial.”
