About: A short film about a military wife, Mary, living on Florida’s space coast, whose husband returns from a warzone having stepped on an IED and has lost part of his face. As Mary tries to be adapt to the change in her husband, she begins a friendship with a grocery store clerk that develops into something more. The grant was awarded to support the post-production of this film.

Outcomes: The film is near completion and will be distributed to film festivals around the world. There is also the intention to stage local screenings and discussions around some of the themes of the film.
