About: Wolverhampton Central Youth Theatre was invited to the World Festival of Amateur Theatre in Monaco to represent the UK. A group of 16 young people travelled to Monaco and perform an adaptation of Nikita Mikhalkov’s ‘Burnt by the Sun’ in the Salle Garnier Opera House in Monte Carlo.

Outcomes: The young people involved in this production experienced an international theatre festival and represented their country.
