Fred Rowson, Flimmaker
About: Woodhouse is a multi-character drama told across an 8-minute short film. It follows individuals living in South London as they search for a mysterious creature in their local nature reserve. The KSF Grant was used to publicise, distribute and submit the film to festivals around the world.
Outcomes: Woodhouse won the Film London’s Best of Boroughs Jury Award, was recognised with a Staff Pick on Vimeo having been viewed over 60,000 times and has been submitted to international film festivals. The hope is that the success of Woodhouse will lead to new shorts commissions and a feature length film in the future.
“The KSF grant has allowed us to take the final but crucial steps needed to get our film out into the world.”
